Glam Digits - Nails Inc. Trafalgar Square

Magnetic Nail Polish! I picked up this polish the other day after passing it up when I placed my Friends and Family order at Sephora.

This took a couple of tries but once I got the hang of it, it was so easy. You polish with one thin coat and let dry and apply a second thicker coat, take the magnet (it comes on top of the nail polish) hold it above the nail and voila! You've got interesting and fun nails. The formula on this is great, I wish all of my nail polish applied like this. Trafalgar Square is my first Nails Inc. purchase and if their other polishes apply this easy it will not be my last.

My daughter and I had so much fun with this stuff. I just might get the purple color House of Parliament.

Oh and it dries pretty fast, an added bonus!

Glamorously Scented - Narciso Rodriguez Musc for Her

This right here, is one of my favs! I love this perfume oil. It is an Egyptian Musk, and I know you can find them anywhere for 10 times less but this is the perfect Egyptian Musk. It is done so well, the dry down doesn't get on my nerves like its 5 dollar counterparts and it lasts all day and all night. If I had to pick a signature scent (I am so glad that I don't!) this would be in the running.

The bottle is sleek and sexy just like the oil. I thought I would mind not being able to see how much I have left but I have had it forever and it hasn't run out. You only need a tiny bit or you will be ready to scrub a dub dub.

It makes me feel rrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaarrrrrhhhhhhhh!

Some perfumes just make you feel sexy and this one does just that. What fragrance ups your sexy?

Shopping Pet Peeves

I shop often. I am working on it, hey the first step to solving a problem is admitting you have one. I really do like to shop though. It makes me happy, most of the time. But, there are somethings on my shopping escapades that I do not enjoy. Start Rant!

1. When people stand too close to me in line. This makes me cringe. I would rather not feel your breath on my neck, I don't want to feel you hitting my purse and you do not need to stand right beside me while I put in my debit pin! Gimme 3 feet! Standing really close to me won't get you to the cashier any faster. We can't become one!!

2. When the sales associates nearly run you over with the clothes racks they are pushing. I am browsing I don't see you. Pardon me for shopping!

3. When they don't have my size, every other size is on the rack or in the back but mine! :( (Sometimes this saves my ass though. Not having my size has saved me lots of money.)

4. The kiosk people chasing you down with lotion! Not the nice ones that leave you alone after you politely decline, the ones that won't give up. One girl had the nerve to look down at my hands and say you need some! Why I have never!

5. The way the cashiers have a look of satisfaction on their faces when they stamp your receipt with FINAL SALE They love doing that don't they!

OK End Rant

I know you guys have some shopping pet peeves, I can't be the only one.

Glam Squad of the Week!

These are the products that I reached for the most this week.

Mac Creamsheen Glass in Deelight and Looks Like Sin
Prada Candy Perfume
Too Faced Primed and Poreless SPF20 Bronze Tint Skin Smoothing Face Primer
Benefit Benetint in Cha Cha

I love Creamsheen Glasses! They feel so good on, they are not sticky and my lips feel conditioned after they wear off.

Above Deelight a milky mauve color that I cannot get enough of.

Also, Looks Like Sin, a deep red berry hue, but it is sheer and looks subtle not loud. This pairs well with all of the spice toned pieces that are in this season.

Sephora Friends and Family Haul

I was trying to be good and just get what I needed but that 20% off makes you think you need more! I wanted to stock up on my Ole Henriksen skincare products. I love his line and I was running low. My skin looks so good now thanks to him. But it ain't cheap so 20% takes some of the edge off. What I got:

Ole Henriksen Nurture Me Moisturizer - My skin gets dry in the winter and this keeps flakies and dry patches away.

Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation Moisturizer - A nice daytime moisturizer that also helps with pigmentation. It really works!

Ole Henriksen Feel The Difference Perfecting Mask - I'm in love. This feels so good after my Philosophy One Minute Peel or my MUAC Radiance Peel. It has something in it that is cooling and soothing.

Philosophy Turbo Booster C Powder- This is my little miracle product. It is an enriched vitamin C powder that I mix with my moisturizer and lotions for even glowing skin. Holy grail status here guys.

Too Faced Primed and Poreless SPF 20 Bronze Tint  Skin Smoothing Face Primer - It has a tint and it smoothes pores and keeps my oily T zone in check. I can wear it alone but when I wear it with tinted moisturizer or foundation my skin looks good all day. This is really good so I will give that obnoxiously long name a pass!

Too Faced Naked Eye Palette - I havent tried it out yet but it looks promising and Too Faced is one of my fav brands.

Tarte Limited Edition Lip Surgence Collection - I bought a Tarte set a while back and it had one of these in it. It was nice and smooth going on and it had a little mintly thing going on. I like it, I went to look for other colors and saw that they were $24 a pop. No ma'am (in my B Scott Voice.) Then I saw this set 5 for $29. No brainer, where do I sign?

Nars Cruella Matte Lip Pencil - I am not feeling this ya'll. I don't like to return make-up but I am tempted. It's just blah, I will stick with my Ruby Woo.

Make Up Forever Diamond Powder Smokey 15 - I bought this because of Sam on Pixiwoo. Gosh those girls are good at what they do. She had a look about a year ago for her bday and used this and it looked amazing. I have a masquerade party coming up and I think I want to recreate that look. I am excited. Oh and the glitter is so pretty. Glamour needs glitter every now and then don't you agree?

What did you guys pick up? Were you as bad as me?

Glamourously Scented - Prada Candy

So, I am in Bloomingdale's to sniff the new Balenciaga fragrance but the "Fragrance Consultants" were pushing Prada's latest addition Prada Candy. Is it Prada Candy or just Candy? I don't know, but the ladies were adamant about me trying this and  they proceeded to spritz me down.

The top notes are super sweet, however, I usually don't judge a fragrance from the initial spray. I wait until the dry down since that is what I will smell like for most of the day anyway, this takes about 20-30 minutes. The middle notes were a little strange too, so I decided to walk around with it. Sales associates seem to hate when I say this. I guess they figure I am going to run for the hills and sometimes I do. Picture me walking around other departments with my wrist to my nose, yeah that was me.

It grew on me, it grew on me a lot. Celeste the fragrance consultant was happy to see me return and I got a really nice gift with purchase too! A bright pink Prada Box with black satin lining. The bottle looks a lot better in person than in the ads. It has a retro feel, the gold and pink looks 1960's luxury and it is fun to spray haha. What can I say I like perfume. Thanks Celeste.

Top Notes: Caramel
Middle Notes: Powder and Musk
Base Notes: Vanilla and Benzione

If you have Prada d' Iris, this smells similar but sweeter and not as dry. Great for fall with chunky sweaters and all!
