So, I am in Bloomingdale's to sniff the new Balenciaga fragrance but the "Fragrance Consultants" were pushing Prada's latest addition Prada Candy. Is it Prada Candy or just Candy? I don't know, but the ladies were adamant about me trying this and they proceeded to spritz me down.
The top notes are super sweet, however, I usually don't judge a fragrance from the initial spray. I wait until the dry down since that is what I will smell like for most of the day anyway, this takes about 20-30 minutes. The middle notes were a little strange too, so I decided to walk around with it. Sales associates seem to hate when I say this. I guess they figure I am going to run for the hills and sometimes I do. Picture me walking around other departments with my wrist to my nose, yeah that was me.
It grew on me, it grew on me a lot. Celeste the fragrance consultant was happy to see me return and I got a really nice gift with purchase too! A bright pink Prada Box with black satin lining. The bottle looks a lot better in person than in the ads. It has a retro feel, the gold and pink looks 1960's luxury and it is fun to spray haha. What can I say I like perfume. Thanks Celeste.
Top Notes: Caramel
Middle Notes: Powder and Musk
Base Notes: Vanilla and Benzione
If you have Prada d' Iris, this smells similar but sweeter and not as dry. Great for fall with chunky sweaters and all!
